THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a Graduate/JuniorQuality Engineerto join our project team in Geelong VIC on a full-time permanent basis - working on the South Geelong to Waurn Ponds Upgrade project.
Reporting to the Quality and Completions Manager and working closely with our experienced project team, you will monitor & maintain the Quality Management System and verify & report project delivery compliance records with Client requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implement, maintain, monitor compliance, and seek improvement of the Project Management System and systems for data, document and record management
- Support the development and implementation the Project Quality Management Plan
- Implementation and maintenance of Nonconformance reporting process and be involved in investigation of significant NCR
- Identify, assess, and control risks to project quality of product
- Ensure Quality requirements are addressed in project delivery documentation including subcontractor and supplier packages
- Maintaining registers (Samples, NCR, INR’s, Audit Schedules) and hard copy records
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Science, or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to work in collaboration with multi-faceted stakeholders to ensure messages are clear, relevant, and timely
- Outcome focused, hands on, and operational, with good technical capability
- Problem solving ability for best project outcomes and understanding scope & design requirements
- Self-motivated and possessing good planning skills demonstrating high attention to detail
- Ability to develop strong work relationships with all stakeholders
