The provides up to $25,000 to support the costs of studying. Scholarship recipients will receive $15,000 in Year 1 of the Program (2023-2024) and a further $10,000 in Year 4 of the Program, following completion of three years' service with the Tasmanian Health Service (from 2026-2027). A limited number of scholarships are available and will be awarded on merit. Scholarship recipients must accept an offer of employment with the Tasmanian Health Service and sign a Scholarship Agreement. - Assess, plan, carry out and re-assess a treatment program for the allied health needs of patients.
- Record adequate details of assessments, treatments and discharge summary in the clinical record.
- Liaise with other allied health professionals and members of the treatment team regarding on-going care of patients.
- Assist senior allied health staff in the implementation of continuous quality improvement programs.
- Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association
