Graduate Quality Co-Ordinator

Join our dynamic pet food manufacturing team at the Ilume Kitchen.  As a Graduate Quality Control Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet and exceed industry standards.

Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Graduate Quality Control Coordinator to join our production team. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including sample retention, equipment swabbing, process improvement, record-keeping, and participation in audits. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate passionate about quality control and eager to grow within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Retention Samples: Collect and maintain retention samples in accordance with established procedures, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Equipment Swabbing: Conduct regular swabbing of equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Process Review and Improvement: Collaborate with the quality control team to review existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize product quality and efficiency.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including sample analyses, test results, and any deviations encountered.
• Audits: Participate in internal and external audits, providing support and information as needed to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Food Science, Science or Quality Assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulatory standards is a plus
• Previous experience or internships in a related field is advantageous
