Band 5/6 - $73,036 - $95,340 yearly, plus 11% statutory superannuation
Looking for a change of organisation or wanting to get post learning hands on statutory planning experience within the busy Land Use Planning team? We are looking for an applicant who will efficiently and effectively carry out the statutory planning and subdivision functions at our Council.
What your day looks like:

• Process, report on and determine planning and subdivision applications.
• Help customers with advice about statutory planning processes.
• Prepare submissions to the VCAT and represent Council when required.
• Support the Statutory Planning team with ad hoc duties.

We are looking for someone with:

• Relevant Tertiary qualification. Previous experience in a similar position an advantage – but not essential.
• Sound organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own work to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent customer skills, where you are able to liaise with a wide range of people.
• Proven capability to work well in a team environment as a team member.
• Demonstrated ability and high-level knowledge in use of Microsoft Office products and relevant office computer software programs.
