About the role Reporting to the Grain Protection Manager, GrainCorp is seeking a Grain Protection Supervisor to assisting with the Grain Protection plan for the Central NSW region. The responsibilities of the role will include: Monitoring pest control activities to ensure grain is able to be out turned free of insect infestation, within appropriate domestic and international pesticide tolerance. Develop the regional fumigation schedule and plan the daily activities of Pest Control Officers, providing supervision of pest control activities. Provide technical support within the region and assist with the development and presentation of in-house pest control training programmes. About your experience Candidates will have prior experience in pest control and/or fumigation, as well as staff management experience. Candidates will also display: Knowledge of the health and safety requirements within the pest control and grain handling industry Current valid driver's licence Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Relevant qualifications in pest control In addition to providing proof of working rights (Australian Citizenship or PR) and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
