Join the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) in the role of Grants and Relationship Coordinator! Based in Darwin, Northern Territory, this position will be responsible for maintaining strong, trusting, respectful relationships with MAGNT’s loyal donors, charitable trusts and foundations and other grant-making organisations to enhance MAGNT’s program delivery.
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the preparation of grant proposals and manage an annual grant schedule for identification, research, applications and reporting to funding bodies including trusts, foundations and government entities.
- Manage contractual obligations for funding agreements and work with internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive management of servicing, reporting, acquitting, budgeting and renewals of agreements.
- Manage individual gift solicitation, tracking and acknowledgements and nurture corporate partnerships.
- Support the Head of Engagement to manage relationships with individual prospects, donors, Ambassadors and key internal and external stakeholders.
We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. As the Grants and Relationship Coordinator you will identify and manage opportunities that support the development of MAGNT’s activities.
You will bring:
- Well-developed skills in positive customer relationship management and the ability to maintain productive working relationships across the arts and cultural and scientific sector, with community organisations and government agencies.
- Highly developed communication and networking skills at the institutional, government and community levels.
- Demonstrated proficiency in grant administration and management.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and the ability to be flexible and work in a busy environment with competing priorities.
In addition to working for a leading cultural and scientific institution, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary of $90,000 per annum plus generous additional benefits, including salary sacrificing options and relocation assistance.
