About the Role
We are seeking a midweight designer to work alongside our Senior Designers and Sales and Marketing Managers in our Macksville office. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to create content across print, email, social and website formats. In this role, you’ll help develop a range collateral designs across our dental business. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for creating content and proven experience producing artwork for print & online.
Your time will be split between assisting our head designer with various design tasks & working independently to create engaging content across our digital and print portfolios.
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide creative designs for both print and digital which include eDM’s (eBlasts), social, online, and printed catalogues, advertisements, posters, and web page elements.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure design jobs meet the brief and organisation requirements and within set timeframes.
- Use existing artwork and brand guidelines to develop new designs that are consistent and brand compliant.
- Update existing collateral materials with new content when required.
- Resize images and designs to a range of sizes and formats.
- Obtain printing quotes and provide press-ready artwork.
- General artwork, photography, and graphic design requests for the organisation.
About you:
- Tertiary qualified in Graphic Design or equivalent with a portfolio of work showcasing the work you have produced.
- Minimum 3 years graphic design experience working in small to medium sized organisations.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
- Understanding of CRM systems such Mail Chimp, HubSpot etc
- Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail
- A team player with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse range of internal stakeholders and departments i.e., Sales, Management/Executive team, Warehouse and the wider Marketing team.
- Comfortable receiving and implementing design feedback.
- A high degree of organisation, flexibility, and reliability to set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and work well under pressure.
Additional skills (bonus):
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics and animation
- Basic knowledge of HTML5 for eDMs.
