ABOUT THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who has strong design skills and will be responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for websites, web pages, product graphics (including art direction of photography), email promotional creative, email templates, social media graphics, and banner ads.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will:
- Produce the design and production for websites, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates. While some projects may require directing external resources, the role is expected to be hands-on.
- Creation of newsletters, point-of-sale marketing collateral (e.g., window decals, pull-up banners etc.)
- Translate product positioning, existing research, and offline/online Marketing strategies into effective designs.
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points
- Work with CMO to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
- Provide design support to other business lines to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics.
- Convert wireframes into functional user experiences.
- Maintaining current knowledge and insight on industry trends, including new digital design technologies.
- Leverage UX processes in your design work, incorporating user feedback and relevant research into new designs.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications, or related field
- Minimum 3 years successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or inhouse Web team for a product-driven business.
- Extensive knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, FTP, web design, Adobe Creative Suite products and development principles
- Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to business problems through effective design.
- Experience in web marketing/web design
- Experience designing e-commerce websites or advertising
- Excellent team working and communication skills with an ability to translate information.
- Great interpersonal skills and attention to detail
