Green Keeper

Grafton Golf Club is seeking a full time Greens keeper to join our dedicated team. Join a future focused golf course with the next generations of golfers in mind, we are committed to making the Grafton Golf Course the Top-rated Golf course on the Northern Rivers. 

Applicants will ideally possess the following skills, experience, and attributes.

• Cert III Turf Management Qualification/ horticulture or 3 – 4 years equivalent/relevant Turf management experience 
• Chemical spraying accreditation (AQF3) with relevant experience with chemical and fertilizer application.
• Experience operating turf and golf equipment.
• Chemical qualification and spraying experience
• Maintenance of all turf areas on the Course to the highest standard, inclusive of greens, tees, surrounds, bunkers, fairways, roughs and out of play areas
• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, works well with a small team, highly motivated and enjoys what you do. 
• Irrigation maintenance experience
• Understanding of OH&S compliance and requirements
• Knowledge of the game of golf/having an interest in golf is an advantage.

We offer an industry leading competitive hourly rate or salary, plus superannuation, paid overtime, and weekend rates available.

Work on a 40-hour week with a RDO paid day off each month, Monday to Friday role with a revolving Saturday morning shift and Sunday on major championships.

The Grafton Golf Club is set in a stunning natural bushland setting with an abundance of wildlife. 18-hole championship course, it proves a challenging course to the true golfer, yet pleasantly gentle to the less experienced player. The course is undulating, with 328 and couch greens, limited water hazards and a tight layout.
