Our client is in search of a skilled Grid Connection Manager to lead the end-to-end Grid Connection process for renewable energy projects, ensuring meticulous regulatory compliance. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about shaping the future of renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:

• Grid Connection Oversight: Lead the entire Grid Connection process for renewable energy projects, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate closely with network service providers, authorities, and stakeholders, offering technical expertise on power systems.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on Grid Connection advancements, identifying areas for process enhancement.
• HV Interconnection Optimisation: Manage the design and construction processes for efficient high-voltage interconnections and substations.
• Supervisory Role: Oversee power interconnection lines and substation designs for PV plants and batteries at various project stages.
• Feasibility Studies & Contract Supervision: Contribute to feasibility studies, supervise contractor designs, and assist in technical due diligence.
• Engineering Review & Compliance: Evaluate and optimise interconnections and HV transmission lines, ensuring compliance with standards and grid codes.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in delivering renewable energy projects.
• In-depth understanding of Grid Connection processes, regulations, and technical requirements.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Leadership capabilities and a proven ability to work seamlessly within a dynamic team environment.
