SRG Global requires Boilermakers for long term and ongoing FIFO opportunities from Perth throughout 2024! We are looking for individuals who thrive on working in team environments and developing collectively. We also look to upskill our Ground Base Boilermakers to Rope Access, to gain an IRATA Level 1 Rope Access qualification. This is done in house with SRG Global in the upcoming months.
We have a 5-year contract for ongoing maintenance and shutdown works servicing Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) mine, rail, and port locations throughout the Pilbara and Port Hedland region.
This role is open to WA based personnel only.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Proficient in Oxy-cutting, Arc air gauging, plasma cutting and the use of hand and power tools
- Confident with Mig & Stick Welding on various metal types
- Be sufficiently fit and comfortable working safely in confined spaces and/or at height following safe access procedures.
- Experience working in a Shutdown environment
- Australian Drivers License
- Working at Heights (completed within 2 years)
- Confined Spaces (completed within 2 years)
- Ability to meet site requirements
- Ability to pass site medical testing inclusive of a drug and alcohol screen
