We are currently seeking for Full-Time Fixed Term Grounds Personto join our team at the Canberra Hospital to commit to working from Monday to Friday.

Availability:

• Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm

A Snapshot of your day:

• Provision of a high standard of routine, periodic and project cleaning to ensure client satisfaction per Infection Control guidelines within your working environment.
• Manage litter removal services for the designated sites (where applicable to each of the specified sites).
• Remove and dispose of all rubbish, debris, leaves, and litter from the roadways, car parks, ambulance bays, courtyards, entranceways, ramps, pavements, pathways, road gutters, external stairs, culverts, stormwater pits, grilles, fence lines, sumps, grassed areas, garden beds, and building surrounds.
• Empty and clean all outdoor smokers’ trays, and outdoor rubbish bins.
• Conduct routine work in a safe and responsible manner that does not disrupt the client, fellow workers or members of the public.
• Identify and record any problems relating to ground services and/or safety then initiate, recommend or provide solutions to Management.

What you must have:

• Car and drivers license
• Chemcert qualification
• Experience with using garden equipment ie; whipper snipper, mower
• Physically capable of carrying out the job, ie, large area grounds maintenance
• Current Police Clearance within 3 months date of issue is essential
• Current ACT Working With Vulnerable People Card
• Willingness to own and maintain a smart phone
• 3 doses of COVID vaccination and complete Immunisation history
