Group Fitness Coach/Personal Trainer

Rep Movemnt is expanding the team!

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer/Group Fitness coach to join our expanding team at Rep Movemnt in Brunswick East. At Rep Movemnt we strive to help people feel happier, stronger, and more energized moving their bodies, promoting a healthier more empowered life. 

About the role:

• As a dedicated coach, you will be responsible for leading strength and conditioning classes with a maximum capacity of 12 people. Our commitment to small class sizes enables us to provide personalized attention to each client, offering tailored alternatives, regressions, and progressions to meet their unique fitness requirements.
• This role serves as maternity leave coverage, making it a fixed-term position rather than casual. We are seeking a reliable candidate, and upon successful completion of the maternity leave cover, there is potential for the role to transition into an ongoing position.
• We are currently seeking coverage for the following shifts:

Thursdays 5.45am -10.30am

Fridays 5.45am – 10.30am

Monday – Friday evenings 5.20pm – 7.30pm

• The role is flexible and can accommodate either one or two individuals. Partial availability for the mentioned shifts is acceptable.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting expert-led instruction and coaching for diverse Group Fitness sessions.
• Setting up for classes, packing up, and general duties to ensure the gym is ready for the following class.
• Monthly meetings.
• Developing comprehensive and tailored exercise programs for strength and conditioning Group Fitness classes.

Qualifications:

• Cert 3 + 4 in Fitness
• First aid + CPR
• 2 years’ experience coaching is preferred, although all applicants will be considered.
