Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Group Fitness Instructor to join our team on a casual basis, with the potential for a more permanent role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness, have excellent communication skills, and be able to inspire and motivate members of all fitness levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and instruct Group Fitness classes, ensuring a high-energy and engaging experience for all participants.
- Create and implement effective workout routines tailored to various fitness levels.
- Provide guidance, support, and motivation to class participants, ensuring proper form and technique.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere in all classes.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for each class.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and techniques to continually improve class offerings.
- Engage with members before and after classes to build strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Promote Fitstop North Hobart’s programs and services to potential new members.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Group Fitness Instruction (e.g., Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Proven experience leading Group Fitness classes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants of all fitness levels.
- A passion for health and fitness.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
