Group Fitness Instructor / Pt / Gym Sales & Reception

Overview: 

We are seeking energetic and highly motivated Group Fitness instructors, Personal Trainers (no rent), Sales and Reception team members. These roles can be a multifaceted position based on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidates will have excellent people skills, a passion for fitness and wellbeing, and experience in the fitness industry.  As a Club Aurora team member you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and motivating environment for our members while assisting in the smooth daily operation of the club.

Club Aurora Fitness + Spa is a fitness and wellness oasis designed to inspire personal growth, both physically and mentally. Nestled in the heart of Brisbane CBD, we offer state-of-the-art facilities, including a gym space, infrared saunas, spas as well as a range of daily Group Fitness classes for our members. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Reception / Member Sales and Retention 
  • Ensure exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming environment for all existing and potential members 
  • Assist in general administrative tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the facility.
  • Engage with leads from promotional campaigns and execute sales techniques to encourage successful sales 
  • Maintain a clean and organised gym environment.

• Personal Training
  • Conducting 1 on 1 Personal Training and Small Group Training
  • Perform health consultations and design personalised programs
  • Facilitate group challenges, track progress and complete results
  • Demonstrate a passion for your own health & fitness, serving as an inspiring role model to our members
  • Have excellent communication skills to effectively connect with and motivate clients and team members alike
  • Exhibit the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team

• Group Fitness Instructor
  • Deliver a variety of freestyle Group Fitness classes 
  • Engage with members and regularly seek member feedback in order to continuously improve the class experience
  • Promote classes through social engagement

Skills and Experience: (based on position applying for)

• Proven experience in the fitness industry 
• Proven ability to conduct engaging Group Fitness classes
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Sales and marketing experience in the fitness industry (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach with a focus on member satisfaction
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Minimum Cert III in Fitness
• First aid and CPR
• Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and Saturday mornings.
