Group President - Enterprise Software - Australia
Aspire Software is looking to hire a Group President - Enterprise Software, to operate a portfolio of Software businesses in Australia!
As the Group President - Enterprise Software, your role entails overall responsibility for the business strategy and execution of multiple Aspire businesses across APAC. Periodically, you may be called upon to adopt a player-coach role, requiring hands-on leadership for a specific business (the player) while concurrently overseeing other business leaders (the coach) within the group. Furthermore, you will assume the role of Business Transformation Leader, tasked with overseeing business integration activities for newly acquired entities in the market.

By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time-sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.
The successful candidate can be based anywhere in Australia, working in a hybrid work model from any of our offices in APAC!
What your day will look like:
Strategy:

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber business leaders and functional experts with a strong grasp of market dynamics, technical expertise, commercial acumen, and project management skills, capable of consistently delivering sustainable growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with the management team and engage with internal and external stakeholders to craft a long-term vision and mission for each business. Develop a systematic roadmap for business and product evolution to realize these objectives
  • Create comprehensive business plans, set priorities, and establish accurate forecasts. Ensure the achievement of short-term forecasts in terms of net revenue and EBITA
  • Drive the evolution of business processes and systems, alongside the development of relevant policies, to ensure scalability, timely data availability for informed decision-making, and compliance with regulatory and corporate governance standards
Operations:
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with key customers and partners to optimize long-term commercial success while seeking innovative solutions to address challenges and problems as they arise
  • Align the KPIs of each business unit and functional department with the set targets, and guide functional leaders in adopting and refining best practices within the market
  • Implement a robust talent management process to attract and retain top talent, enhance employee engagement, establish succession plans for risk management, support scalability, and cultivate emerging talent
  • Conduct regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings to promote teamwork, align on priorities, and strive for continuous performance improvement and forecasting accuracy
  • Provide quarterly analyses of ongoing business performance
Financial Management:
  • Review Annual, quarterly and monthly revenue results/forecasts and costs
  • Participate in the development of internal department policies and programs to support quality and growth
  • Drive P&L, ROIC, EBITDA and ARR/ IRR performance of businesses and ensure companies are meeting organizational objectives
About You:
  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience running and operating multiple software companies is essential
  • Extensive managerial experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Executive decision-making skills
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset
  • Exceptional business acumen
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • 30% travel required for internal and customer meetings
  • Legally authorized to work in Australia
