Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will workclosely with our quality trans-Tasman advisors to ensure Tax and relatedcompliance requirements are met for the Vitaco Group across New Zealand,Australia, and Hong Kong. In addition, you will support the Group FinancialController with the annual insurance renewal and the year-end statutory audit.
What you own and deliver:
- Manage the companies’ tax obligations across both New Zealand and Australia, including Group Tax returns and tax calculations.
- Review and update the transfer pricing policy and assess the policy regularly for compliance.
- Upskill and train the finance team so they can accurately prepare and submit the indirect taxes.
- Provide tax advice to the business units to ensure continued compliance.
- Manage all other compliance obligations across NZ and Australia, including statistics returns.
- Assist with the annual insurance renewal and also provide support to the business for insurance claims.
- Support the Group FC during the annual audit for the group.
- Lead, review, and recommend changes to our finance governance framework and company structure.

About You :
- ABachelor’s degree in Tax and/or Accounting and a recognised accountingqualification CA ANZ/CPA
- 5+Years’ experience in a FMCG Company working across multiple legalentities, countries and currencies
- Greatattention to detail and accuracy; deadline and results focused
- Strongcommunication skills, both verbal and written; advanced Excel skills AdvancedExcel skills
- SomeAU Tax and compliance experience, as well as exposure to a multi-currencyand trans-Tasman environment, would be an added advantage..
