As a Group Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.). The Travel Consultant is the primary point of contact for the customer and provides active travel consultation towards the business customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage travel logistics for Domestic and International groups, including Air, Hotel, and transport.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to negotiate best rates with various suppliers.
- Responsible for controlling budgeted costs.
- Main point of contact for both internal and external clients and suppliers
- Deliver genuine and exception customer service.
About you
- Previous groups consulting experience
- Demonstrate a proactive approach in providing solutions to complex logistical challenges.
- Strong GDS knowledge (preferably Sabre)
- Excellent fares and ticketing knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple groups while meeting client and supplier deadlines.
- Exception attention to detail and highly organised
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong team player
