Flavorite is undergoing a high level of growth & to continue our focus on excellence in all facets of operations, we are looking for a passionate, and engaging individual to become an integral part of our leadership team.The Harvest / Picking Leading Hand is responsible for assisting the Picking Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the Glasshouse, as well as management and implementation of the picking strategies in order to achieve budgeted production levels.This is a hands-on entry-level role working in the Glasshouses.About the role:There is more to fruit picking than you would think.In this role you will be required to:

• Undertake picking to ensure target times are achieved
• Walking consistently in the Glasshouse
• Moving trolleys and fruit boxes
• Provide support to Picking Supervisor and team members
• Train new team members in picking tasks as instructed by the Picking Supervisor
• Coach and mentor your team in the safe work processes
• Driving picking trolley on occasions
• Manage and implement the training schedule of all new team members
• Prepare daily work orders in the absence of the Picking Supervisor
• Prepare daily estimates in the absence of the Picking Supervisor
• Undertake stock control in the absence of the Picking Supervisor
• Assist with the development of Picking Standard Operating Procedures
• ad hoc duties as required
