Our volunteers go above and beyond to provide our guests and visitors from all over the world with general information and assistance to give the guests the best possible mountain experience! Mt Buller promises an office like no other and yes, skiing and boarding is part of the experience with a season pass and free bus access to Mt Buller being just some of the perks of volunteering your time with us. Other Benefits include, car pass access to the day carpark, full uniform for the season, access to a shared locker on your day of volunteering and additional benefits for exceeding your 12 days. You’ll be up for rolling up your sleeves and working together with lots of different businesses and stake holders across the mountain to provide our guests with the best experience possible in a unique and challenging alpine environment.

Guest Experience Volunteers play an integral part in ensuring that Guests who arrive at the Resort have all of the information required to make their stay memorable and enjoyable. The Guest Experience Department take all steps necessary to ensure easy access for Guests to all of the Resort Services and Facilities.

Please note accommodation is not provided with this role .

Job responsibilities include:

• Providing Guests with all of the information required to make the most of their resort experience.
• Assist with busy lines at lifts and the Toboggan Parks
• Contribute to a fantastic on mountain atmosphere and experience

We're looking for people with:

• Excellent communication skills and a can do attitude
• Thrive in a team environment
• Committed and reliable
• Growth mindset
• Able to communicate with guests from all different backgrounds and walks of life with empathy and respect
• Good level of fitness, energetic and enjoy the outdoors.
• Able to work in different weather extremes.

Requirements:

• At least 16 years old.
• We ask that you are available 1 regular day a week (12 days of service total) .
• We will provide pre season and on the job training to ensure you're well prepared to fulfill this role.
