Guest Experience Volunteer

You’ll be up for pulling together with your crew facing the unpredictability and unique challenges of the alpine environment.

Buller Ski Lifts (BSL) is seeking highly motivated, passionate Mt Buller enthusiasts to join our Guest Services (GS) Volunteer Team for the winter snow season. Guest Services volunteers help to ensure our guests are provided with accurate information of all of Mt Buller's products, services and facilities. Successful applicants will be committed to demonstrating an exceptional level of customer service, providing our guests with the best possible mountain experience. Please note, you must have your own accommodation for this position.

Job responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests at mountain entry points and throughout the resort.
• Providing guests with up to date, and accurate, information of all aspects of the mountain.
• Provide support to the Mountain Operations team and other Buller Ski Lifts departments.

We're looking for people with:

• Good communication skills to enable excellent customer service.
• Good general knowledge of services and facilities provided at Mt Buller.
• The ability and willingness to work outdoors in different weather extremes, whilst maintaining a friendly and positive disposition.
• Maintaining a happy and positive attitude.
• Being in good physical condition and being an experienced intermediate standard skier/snowboarder.
• Having a high regard for your personal appearance, presentation and reliability.
• Being able to direct guests and look out for their safety and well-being, and to contribute in every way to the enjoyment of their time in the resort.

Requirements:

• At least 16 years old.
• Must be able to commit to 12 days (96 hours) of service between 5th June – end of Season.
• Have your own accommodation
