The Novotel Northbeach, Wollongong has undergone a major refurbishment and is a stunning beachfront resort with multiple outlets and entertainment facilities under the one roof. The hotel provides an exceptional product with world class food and beverage offerings and is highlighted to be the best resort and food venue in the region. The hotel boasts 209 accommodation rooms, 13 conference rooms, multiple food and beverage outlets, sports bar facilities, gaming room, pool and gym and is renowned for its guest obsessed culture.

About you:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? Novotel Wollongong, a leading hotel in the hospitality industry, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Relations Executive. As a Guest Relations Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests feel welcome and valued throughout their stay.

  • This is a part time role working 4 days a week with the potential to move into a full time role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Provide personalised assistance to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and insights, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless resolution process.
  • Coordinate special requests such as room arrangements, celebrations, and other personalised services.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all hotel departments to ensure a coordinated guest experience
  • Championing the Accor Loyalty programs internally across all hotel teams
  • Interrupting feedback trends, and reporting on feedback statistics

Skills & Experience: 
  • Previous experience in a Guest Relations or customer service role within the hospitality industry, preferably hotels
  • Experience with hotel operation system such as Opera preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills, being able to prioritise your tasks
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and services.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
