Halal Slaughtermen - Beresfield

APG are looking for Halal Certified Slaughterman to work within our client's poultry (chicken and turkey) processing factory

APG are looking for people to work within our client’s poultry processing factory, working in the front end on a fast-paced production line.
You will need to be suitably qualified for this halal certified slaughterman position, preferably experienced in a similar role and meet the below selection criteria:

• Hard working and 100% reliable for this key position
• No birds, chickens, or pigs at home
• Own car and driver’s licence
• Flexible for shift work and early morning starts 4.00am, Monday to Friday on a weekly roster including overtime in peak periods - weekends and public holidays if required
• Achieve client’s daily production targets
• Must be able to provide a HALAL declaration of faith or Islamic organisation certification card.
• Be fit and healthy for labour intensive/manual handling work – this position is very physically demanding
• Capable of fast, heavy lifting and comfortable working around live birds in dirty areas
• Be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10-hour shifts
• Available for an immediate start
