Hand Assembly Operator – Immediate Start Available

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for precision and craftsmanship? Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can showcase your manual dexterity and attention to detail? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!

First Aid Kits Australia is a leading manufacturing company specialising in high-quality First Aid products supplying various industries. We are currently seeking a Hand Assembly Specialist to join our small, dedicated team. 

Role will be casual 3-5 days per week from 7:30am-3:30pm. Opportunity for Full Time employment after probationary period.

You will be responsible for assembling First aid kits using your manual skills and ensuring the final product meets our rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Hand Assembly tasks, including but not limited to, sorting, aligning, and packing components using various techniques.
  • Follow detailed instructions and sample kits to assemble products accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues in the assembly process to the warehouse manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support to ensure production targets are met.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Hand Assembly or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks and lift moderately heavy objects, if required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and processes.
