Job Description:
Operates manufacturing equipment in the Hand Lining Department by applying calendered rubber to steel frames and reinforcements to produce Mill Dischargers, Mill Trunnions, Agitator Blades, Trommel Frames & Transition Pieces, Feed Chutes and Feed Spout Assemblies and Discharge Cones products primarily for the mining and aggregate industry.
Other duties may will involve finishing of products and components and to repair product imperfections produced from multiple areas.
Multi Skilling into other areas in the department include Shot Blasting, Spray Painting, Stringing sections.
Understands the work activities of the workstation, the co-ordination of workflow to meet schedules and the importance of maintaining a high level of safety and housekeeping of the workstation.
Job requirements:
Rubber Lining experience.
Reads production and technical drawings in conjunction with work orders for product specifications such as weights, dimensions and tolerances.
Understands the quality requirements of the products and ability to perform first part quality check.
Preparation of rubber material from templates
Lay out & cutting of rubber sheets
Operating relevant hand / power tools within safety specifications
Surface preparation and inspection of steel and rubber surfaces
Application of relevant adhesives and chemicals
High Risk Work License - Forklift,
Current Drivers License
Provide x2 contactable references
Ability to pass PEM Medical and DAS
Desirable
Dogging License
