Red Tree Finance is an Australian-owned and operated lender, specialising in secured personal loans.
Our office is conveniently located in Wollongong CBD, close to the shopping centre, cafes, restaurants and public transport.
About the role:
As a Hardship / Collections Officer, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of accounts, communicating with customers via phone and email and assisting our collections team. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with a supportive and goal-orientated team. You will receive ongoing training to assist in your development and success.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Inbound and outbound collection calls.
- Responding to inbound client emails.
- Negotiating and monitoring payment plans.
- Analysing clients’ accounts
- Ensuring your portfolio of clients is actioned each week
- Following direction from management
- Monitor direct debit payments & action dishonours.
- Build and maintain a sound knowledge of all products and procedures.
- You will be required to work from our Wollongong Office location, with work from home options available 1-2 days per week for the right candidate
Qualifications & experience
- Understanding of best practice collection environments, strategies and techniques in Australia
- Hardship/Collections experience is essential
- Exceptional customer service and dispute resolution skills in inbound and outbound call management.
- Empathy and resilience
- Ability to multitask without losing focus on the desired outcomes.
- This role requires someone who possesses the drive to meet and exceed weekly/monthly collection targets and has the desire to achieve
