Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Harvest Diver to join our team aboard the FV Thor. The Harvest Diver will play a crucial role in our operations, assisting with the harvesting of seafood in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform underwater harvesting of seafood, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect and maintain diving equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate harvesting activities.
- Adhere to all environmental regulations and company policies regarding harvesting practices.
Qualifications:
- Commercial Dive Medical AS/NZ2299
- VET Rescue Statement of Attainment SISOSCB3064, Dive Master (or higher), or ADAS Commerial Diver
- Provide First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Apply Advanced Resuscitation
- Marine Boat Licence
Highly regarded:
- Experience in other harvest dive industries
- MED II
- Master 5 or 4
