The Harvest Leading Hand is responsible for assisting the Picking Supervisor with the management and implementation of the picking strategies in order to achieve budgeted production levels.

About the role:

There is more to fruit picking then you would think! Although this can be a physical role, the people, culture, safety focus, continuous innovation, and learning really makes you jump of out bed every day!

In this role you will be required to:

• Undertake picking to ensure target times are achieved
• Provide support to Harvest Supervisor and staff
• Driving picking trolley
• Manage training schedule of all new picking recruits
• Perform higher duties in absence of Supervisor

The successful candidate will have:

• Patience and diversity awareness

• Ability to follow procedures & instructions
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to differentiate between red, orange, yellow and green
