Form of workOur client is a well-established Earthmoving company providing high quality services and equipment to clients across the remote areas of Australia. Their field operations are based in the in the Cooper-Eromanga Basin. We are on the look-out for experienced HC or HR Operators with Earthmoving experience.
The successful person will enjoy an even time three week roster along with working autonomously in remote locations. This means you will only work six months of the year. Excellent for work life balance!
This is an entry level FIFO position (not working for the mines) where you will be trained as a 'Scraper Operator'. You may have the opportunity to be trained on other equipment as required by the business.
Initially employed as a casual through Omni Recruit, you will have the opportunity to transition directly with our client if it proves to be a great fit for both parties.

To be shortlisted for this position you must be able to meet/provide the following criteria:
- Must hold a current HR license with experience (at least)
- Ability to provide a drivers license history check no more than three months old
- Previous Earthmoving operator experience
- Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Produce a police clearance no longer than three months old
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of remote,, FIFO work demands & expectations
- White Card
- Australian Citizen with excellent English communication skills
- At least 2 recent work references from direct managers or supervisors
Successful candidates will be assisted by way of completing a 4WD Operate Vehicles in the Field (PMASUP236B) driving course along with obtaining Senior First Aid certification and online inductions if you don't currently have these.
