Our client based in Kooragang Island is seeking a HC Driver with Forklift Licence & Dangerous Goods licence for local and regional work.
Commencing most days around 4am to 5am, the shifts range from 8-12 hours with pick up & deliveries to locations as follows: Sydney (Blacktown), Gosford & Tamworth.
This role does require a minimum of 1 overnight stay per week or fortnight.
When there is not semi work - the drivers do complete rigid work of fork on fork off work or cylinder deliveries as required. (Still paid semi rates)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of LPG to internal sites and customers
- Loading and unloading of the vehicle using forklift
- Available to work the occasional Saturday shift
- Ability to stick to schedules with punctuality being key to ensuring trips and breaks are managed effectively
- A professional approach and "can-do" attitude with the ability to work autonomously
- Participate in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response and incident reporting
Skills & Experience
- HC Licence with minimum 2 years' experience
- Forklift Licence
- Dangerous Goods Licence
- Be able to complete all deliveries across Newcastle, Sydney, Gosford and Tamworth areas
- Able to stick to schedules with punctuality being key to ensuring trips and breaks are managed effectively
