Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Undertake loading and unloading functions at GTS various customer sites.
• Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty.
• Delivery of allocated freight to required locations as per customer timeslot.
• Obtaining and completing appropriate paperwork (e.g.: signed consignment notes/proof of delivery/run sheets etc)
• Load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines.
• Refueling and cleanliness of allocated equipment.
• Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following attributes:
•Hold a current Unrestricted HC license.
• Demonstrate relevant HC local driving experience & history
• Reliable and enthusiastic.
• Clear communicator and must be punctual
• Strong understanding and commitment to safety.
• Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation would be an advantage.
• Training and induction will be provided.
To be eligible for full time employment you will be required to meet the following employment criteria which will include but not be limited to;
• Federal Police Check.
• Full Medical and functional testing.
• Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
