Team Global Express is currently seeking a HC Truck Driver to commence immediately at our Innisfail Location. This is a Full Time Permanent Position, where you will have the opportunity to deliver freight and play a key part in servicing our major clients and customers throughout the Region.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- This is a Full Time Permanent role, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week (7am Starts)
- Overtime is available and will be offered on a need by need basis
- Weekend Work is also available with this role and will be offered on a need by need basis
- You must hold a current HC licence (or higher). You must also be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Heavy Vehicles
- Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
- Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
- Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames
- Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required
- Experience operating Prime Movers and trailers with ambient & temperature-controlled freight
- Loading and unloading pallets as required - A Current Forklift License will be ideal for this Role
- Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
- Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks
- Please Note: There is no set allocation of trucks in this position
