We are currently looking for an experienced HC Driver to join our Transport & Logistics team on the Gold Coast.
About you:
The successful candidate will require:
- A valid Heavy Combination (HC) Licence (Mandatory) with at least 2 years experience and a good driving history
- Have a right to work in Australia
- Display high level of customer service with good communication skills
- Have a knowledge of South East Queensland and surrounding areas
- Be self-motivated and have a professional and courteous manner
- Knowledge of relevant transport laws and regulations
- Safety-conscious with solid understanding of OH&S and compliance and committed to safe work practices
Day to day duties:
- Liaising with customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Maintaining a professional image on the road
- Completion of in cab electronic reporting systems and other documentation as required.
- Comply with all Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility policies and regulations
- Refueling and maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipment
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays
- All work is return to base and no overnight work required.
