As our continued growth opens up new possibilities our client a South Australian leading provider of both factory and on-site fabrication of Polyethylene pipeline and pipe spool are currently seeking an experienced HDPE Poly Welder to join our client's team. The successful candidate will work alongside the fabrication team and assist them in welding and fusing high-density polyethylene pipes and fittings. You will work on various projects in the construction, oil and gas, and water treatment industries both locally and remote.
Responsibilities:
- Commitment to safety and safe work environments
- Assist the HDPE Welders in welding and fusing HDPE pipes, fittings and liner according to industry standards
- Perform maintenance on HDPE welding equipment
- Ensure all work is completed according to industry and safety regulations / standards and company policies
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within specified timelines
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction, oil and gas, or water treatment industries
- Strong knowledge of HDPE welding techniques and equipment
- Accredited HDPE welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel when necessary
