Head Barista / Morning Manager

General Public Food Co Scarborough is looking for passionate and experienced Barista to join our team. We are looking for someone who champions our values, wants to be here for the ‘hood, has an unhealthy love of good coffee and sourdough goods and pride themselves on creating memorable experiences to our valued community!

As the Head Barista you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the morning aspect of the Venue with the support of the management team. It’s the Head Barista's job to ensure quality and consistency of coffee’s and ensure staff are up to speed on training, deliver the best service possible to customers, and maintain strong relationships with management and suppliers. 

What we are looking for: 

• Greeting customers and delivering excellent customer service.
• Passion for producing high quality coffee
• Making recommendations to customers and answering any questions. 
• Manage orders for stock and coffee supplies.
• Maintain and clean coffee machines. Organise service where needed. 
• Train and set standard for other Baristas.
• Monitor and maintain hygiene and cleaning standards.
• Liaise with coffee roaster and management to ensure the smooth running of operations and delivery of quality products.
