We are seeking an experienced Head Draftsperson to lead our drafting team, ensuring the highest standards of design and accuracy using Microvellum Software.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the drafting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Drafting Excellence:
- Utilize Microvellum Software to create detailed, precise, and accurate 3D models, drawings, and plans for custom cabinetry and furniture projects.
- Review and approve all drawings to ensure they meet project specifications, industry standards, and quality expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their vision is accurately translated into the final product.
Project Management:
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.
- Continuously seek ways to improve drafting processes and workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Experience:
- Extensive experience with Microvellum Software is essential or other sotfware.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture industry.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues.
