About this opportunity:
This role is a leadership position within our Medical Information function and sits on the APAC Leadership team. You will be working autonomously and leading a team of 7 Medical Information managers who are located across Asia. The primary focus of your position will be the leadership and development of this team as well as strategizing and implementing the information innovation technology that is planned to be rolled out over the next 12 months within this division.
Hybrid Working:
This position will be office based and located in Australia. There will be 30% travel in this role.
You will be working in a hybrid and virtual environment and will need to be able to provide the energy and passion for this team.

In this role you will:
Conduct quality check reviews for Non-Promotional Medical Materials (NPMM)
Be responsible for supporting the definition and execution of Regional Medical Information strategy for assigned products or therapeutic areas.
Be supportive of Medical Information input to regional Core Medical team and Brand teams: including regular reporting and strategic input on Medical Information metrics and anticipated activities and needs.
Responsible for evaluating and interpreting medical literature, abstracting and writing Medical Information in various formats to maintain and enhance Medical Information content.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Clinical practice experience or a minimum of pharmaceutical industry experience
Extensive Drug Information, Medical Information or Medical Communications experience
Have a very thorough understanding of legal/regulatory/compliance requirements and guidelines with respect to Medical Information/Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
Have advanced knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of available medical references and online literature searching
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Medical writing experience
Bilingual (Chinese/Korean/Spanish with English) – oral and written fluency in medical context
Provide demonstrated experience and ability in leading cross functional matrix teams
Education:
Healthcare professional with BS-Pharmacy/PharmD MD, RN, or life sciences with an advanced degree, e.g. MSc, PhD

This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and minimum 2 days per week in our Sydney office. Flexibility may be required in line with business need.
