Fundamental to the Land Services SA business model is leveraging our data in the market. The newly created position of Head of Analytics and Data Commercialisation Strategy will take responsibility for maximising the commercial benefit we can realise from existing, new and third-party data assets. It will also be responsible for analysing operational data across the business with a view to deliver improved productivity, efficiency and process.With a combination of previous product ownership/management experience and proven expertise in data analytics, you will take a hands-on approach to driving revenue and creating sustainable growth across the business. You will drive the end- to-end Commercial Data Strategy, working alongside teams to implement approaches to optimising revenue from data, lead valuation and pricing. Accountable for the inception, development/transformation and delivery of high demand data products and services that create new monetisation opportunities you will manage the data product lifecycle from initial concept to launch and continuous improvement.You will drive operational efficiency in the use of data to determine where productivity improvements can be achieved, working with business units to define and implement operational process change. You will engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and specify solutions.You will bring proven experience in data commercialisation and monetisation to deliver new sustainable revenue streams and proven experience building analytical solutions and in working with data marts. You will have the ability to form your own questions about data and work with others to develop models, using machine learning, or incorporating advanced programming to find and analyse data.
