Bostock Brothers Organic Chicken is a well loved NZ product that brings deliciously good chicken to everyday kiwis.

As the Head of Bostock Brothers Organic Chicken, you will be a leader who strives for success through the care of our people and our product. You will be someone who engages your team on the journey whilst continually creating a sense of pride and passion for the work that we do. You’ll see out great ideas and look at ways to improve the everyday whilst maintaining the Bostocks ‘roots’ across the business.

This is a busy but rewarding role so you will be someone who has strong time management skills and the drive to collaborate and engage with the wider business. Other responsibilities include;

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve short-term and long-term objectives for the business.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Promote and communicate work health, safety and environment matters to relevant staff.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead efforts to expand the brand’s market share.
  • Ensure alignment of brand strategies with overall company goals and vision.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, including revenue targets and cost controls.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyse key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.

We’re on the lookout for someone who;

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within a branded business
  • Proven track record of successfully managing P&L and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • A focus on safety and quality
  • A passion for continuous improvement
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
