Job Description

About the Opportunity.


We are a purpose-driven organisation led by our Sustainability Master Plan, which drives our global approach to infructuous delivery.   Following strong growth across our Australia & New Zealand operations, we are now looking to appoint a Head of Brand Marketing and Communications AU/NZ (HoBMC). Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Transformation AU/NZ and leading a small team, you will help design and implement strategies to build brand strength and awareness across both external and internal stakeholders.


What you will be accountable for:

  • Driving local business priorities through engagement with the Executive team
  • Broadening the ACCIONA brand by proactively identifying Marketing and PR opportunities across digital, media and key mastheads 
  • Development and implementation of annual marketing and communications plans aligned to approved budgets
  • Assisting internal support function in leveraging corporate programmes and initiatives to guarantee employee understanding and adoption.
  • Assisting HR with employer branding positionings to capture adequate talent across all operations

In addition, the HoBMC will work with the global team to develop campaigns, platforms and strategies that reflect the Australian business's needs whilst reflecting the global brand position and values.


    Required Skills and Competencies

    What Capability & Experience will you need to have:

    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar
    • Proven experience delivering in a similar role within a global matrixed organisation
    • Sound knowledge of marketing strategy for all areas, including digital, social media, print media, etc
    • Proven experience managing media, public speaking, and public relations for a large corporate brand
    • An ability to manage multiple projects across teams while engaging key stakeholders will be key to your success.  

    This role is not open to agency application.
