About Kawana Waters Sate College

Kawana Waters State College is a Prep to Year 12 College, established in 2006 bringing together Kawana Waters State High School and Bokarina State School, providing a seamless journey from Prep to Year 12 for young people in the Kawana Waters area. We are situated in the heart of Queensland's Sunshine Coast with a current enrolment of 2100 students (500 Primary, 1600 Secondary). Our college is situated between the beach and lake Kawana with world class sporting, medical, university and recreational facilities on our door step. This area will become a hive of activity in the lead up and during the 2032 Olympics.

About the Role

As the Head of Campus you will:

  • Provide strategic advice, analysis and planning support to the Executive Principal and the Executive Leadership Team (Executive Principal, Primary Campus Principal, Secondary Campus Principal and College Business Manager) in relation to teaching and learning, human resource management, financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Lead and manage the P-6 campus with significant autonomy within and aligned to the strategic and philosophical direction of the P-12 College.
  • Have an opportunity to innovate, engage community, develop curricular and extra-curricular programs and grow P-6 enrolments, taking advantage of the P-12 nature of the college.
  • Manage the strategic operations of the College to ensure operations are managed professionally to align with departmental priorities.
  • Lead the improvement priorities for the educational outcomes of all students P-6.
  • Build the professional capabilities of staff and leaders P-6 and beyond.
