In this key leadership role within Selleys, you will be driving our category strategy into our next phase of growth while leading a high performing team. You will set the strategic direction for our categories and sub-categories and efficiently utilise data to uncover opportunities and deliver recommendations to our diverse customers.

The Selleys Retail Sales team service a diverse range of customers from large, sophisticated, and centralised retailers including Bunnings, Woolworths and Coles to independent store owner operators across Retail Hardware, Grocery, Discount Department Stores, Auto and Paint Specialists. In addition, the ANZ Retail Sales Team sell to near export markets.

As a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, you will partner with the business to introduce and embed category-first thinking and strategic category management practices, as well as support senior sales colleagues to produce clear annual key account plans and compelling field team cycle plans.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Win-Win Customer Strategy, Plans and Execution that make Selleys the supplier of choice
  • Lead the sales coordination of Revenue Growth Management including Pricing, Promotional Effectiveness, Distribution, and Mix recommendations
  • Develop enablers including core category presentations, for the National Account Teams and Field Teams across ANZ, and support major customers
  • Provide strategic leadership, coaching and direction in alignment with overarching business strategy.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in senior Sales or Category roles within consumer goods, working in cross functional teams
  • Successful track record of delivering commercial outcomes
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders to create best commercial and financial outcomes
  • Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive organisational change without direction
  • Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring
