You will also be tasked with reviewing operational costs and KPIs periodically alongside senior management to ensure effective oversight and planning. Additionally, you will support the Chief of Fleet and Compliance in meeting ongoing accreditation requirements. A key part of your role will also involve overseeing health, safety, security, environment for drivers, supervisory staff including maintaining compliance with fatigue management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the creation of a comprehensive 72-hour operational plan that harmoniously coordinates local drivers, interstate drivers, vehicles, trailers, loads and customer requirements
- Work closely with the Operations Control and delivery teams to ensure seamless interface between customer expectations around fulfilment and communication
- In collaboration with the Chief of Finance and Administration and the Managing Director, periodically review all operational costs and KPIs to ensure oversight and corrective action planning is conducted
- Support the Chief of Fleet and Compliance by providing necessary data, reports, records to meet the ongoing requirements of the Company NHVAS accreditation’s
- Oversee the HSSE for drivers, supervisory and operational staff including maintaining the integrity and compliance of the Company’s Fatigue Management System and Company Management System
- Ensure that daily inspections of Trucks and Trailers are carried out at every site with any action items recorded and scheduled
- 5 years experience in a similar role
