A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.About the OpportunityReporting to the General Manager Business Establishment, the Head of Enablement is accountable for developing and executing work scopes to support programmatic outcomes within the SSN AUKUS program.This pivotal role includes overseeing the implementation and monitoring of the Collaborative Working Environment (CWE), along with supporting information technology, security, facilities, and export control arrangements.The Head of Enablement plays a crucial role in supporting the development of a business establishment plan, leveraging support from the broader organisation and supporting business units.The incumbent will be required to maintain a strategic perspective on the entire program, considering long-term issues, opportunities, and risks to ensure ongoing business success.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute work scopes to support programmatic outcomes within the SSN AUKUS program.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of a collaborative Working Environment (CWE) and supporting IT, security, facilities, and export control arrangements.
- Support the development of a business establishment plan, leveraging support from broader organisation and supporting business units.
- Provide leadership to team members, ensuring clear direction and setting challenging yet achievable performance targets.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours and readiness for periodic or regular overseas travel.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the full range of project management services, preferably in the defence or shipbuilding sector.
- Proficiency in cost account management.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic business plans.
- Strong understanding of the shipbuilding/defence sector through previous work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement interventions and high-quality solutions to complex problems.
- Proven leadership experience in leading high-performing teams in complex environments.
