About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will strategically lead Operational Resilience Governance and Management for Allianz Australia Limited (AAL) and tactically deliver the overall Protection and Resilience framework, ensuring that the model continues to meet enterprise and regulatory standards. The framework includes the resilience domains of Business Continuity, IT Service Continuity (Disaster Recovery) Management, and Crisis and Incident Management.
Other key aspects of the role:
Tactically deliver an effective Enterprise Resilience Program to manage resilience risks within approved risk appetite and ensure compliance with APRA regulations and Allianz Group Protection & Resilience Standards.
Lead the framework for identifying and assessing continuity and resilience risks that may impact the reputation, safety, security and financial prosperity of AAL and also acts as an SME and thought leader amongst the organisational entities across the Group.
Tactically lead activation of resilience management plans to enable swift decision making to support an effective response. Manage escalation and lead coordination with key partners, overseeing invocation of plans and managing the event. Provide subject matter expertise and accountable for PIR.
Oversee an education and training program to ensure that key actors within organisation are properly equipped to fulfil their resilience responsibilities effectively.
Identify and deliver opportunities to improve plans, preparedness and response strategies and monitor the implementation of actions described in post incident/event evaluations in the aftermath of a resilience event/incident.
Present regular Enterprise Resilience analysis and reports that detail compliance to the P&R framework and standards, incorporating policies, procedures, maturity models, plans, metrics, sourcing strategies and scorecards for the program, and its components.
Important to your success:
Significant experience in a leadership role within resilience management or related field in a complex, matrixed regulated industry such as but not limited to financial services, energy, telco, or airline organisations.
An understanding of current and emerging regulatory frameworks and requirements governing resilience management, including, but not limited to CPS232 and CPS230 in Australia, DORA in the EU.
Holds or working to obtain, Business Continuity Institute (BCI) accreditation (or relevant equivalent certification).
Extensive understanding of controls related to resilience and continuity.
Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes, demonstrating an appreciation of both IT and business strategy.
