The Opportunity:

In our sparkly new Head of Factory role, you'll be the maestro of three symphonies - Production, Reliability, and Engineering - guiding a fantastic crew of up to 130 talented individuals (and steering three direct reports).

You'll be the architect of Chobani's new Operational Excellence program, weaving the magic of continuous improvement into our operational DNA. Nestled at our sleek site/office in Dandenong South, reporting to the Operations & Supply Chain General Manager, you'll be at the beating heart of our business and play an integral part in our ambitious growth ambitions.

Day to day - what you'll do: 
• Craft: Oversee manufacturing, making sure safety, quality and cost goals are the rockstars of the show
• Build: Sketch out a capital expenditure plan, adding a touch of discipline to our capital projects canvas
• Champion: Be the superhero of change, waving the Operational Excellence flag high and proud
• Lead: Rally your troops, inspire brilliance, and nurture a culture of growth and fresh ideas
• Dive In: Immerse yourself in the production and engineering whirlwind and lead from the front

Skills & Experience:
We're looking for someone with:
• 15+ years of Consumer Goods expertise (bonus points for Food or Pharma)
• An Engineering background (ideally degree qualified OR have led reliability/capital project teams)
• Leadership experience of a large Production team, with an empowering and coaching style
• Lean Mean Manufacturing Machine: Fluent in the language of Lean Manufacturing principles
• A knack for navigating and leading through change and uncertainty
• Visionary yet Hands-On: Paint the big picture but not be afraid to throw on a ‘toolbelt’ when needed
