About the role
Are you our new Head of Information Security?
We are seeking an experienced Head of Information Security to safeguard the Dentons Australia and PNG IT systems, confidentiality, information and system integrity from cyber hacks, data leaks, and to help provide assurances to clients about the safeguards and processes.
Reporting to the CIO and a member of the IT Leadership team, this position will be responsible for the Dentons regional Information Security Management System (ISMS) while working collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.
The role has a critical part to play in client engagement and will provide periodic reviews of our IT capabilities and perform assessments in line with prevailing frameworks and/or regulations. As Head of Information Security, you will lead these critical activities.
Bring your 10 years plus of experience in managing Information Security and people. Knowledge of security principles and frameworks like SOC2, ISO27001, ACSC Essential 8 & CPS234 are essential together with:
- Expert knowledge of global Data Protection and Privacy regulation
- Ability to access and quantify IT risk to develop appropriate frameworks and solutions.
- Experience managing and completing IT compliance attestation questionnaires.
- Legal or banking and finance experience is highly regarded.
