Role Summary
Reporting to the relevant Head of Department you will be responsible for the management of three teams of consultants and project managers.
You will be accountable for their performance in relation to meeting agreed business objectives.
You will also be involved in their personal development, through the respective team managers who will report directly to you.
Day to Day
Shared responsibility for the division’s PS objectives, including Revenue, Margin, EBITDA, NPS and Employee Engagement
Forecast revenue for your teams and be responsible for expenditure and costs associated with your teams.
Recruit and support the onboarding and upskilling of your teams
Responsible for the delivery of projects by your teams and the quality and margin associated with these projects.
Drive forward project delivery methodology improvements including the use of digital tools for greater efficiency.
Ensure high levels of billability and utilisation in your teams.
Be a natural “go to” person and form a broad network across the business.
Define Employee Success Plans and their aligned cascade through the department
Own and contribute to the Division’s Strategic objectives
Mentor and develop team members and your direct reports.
Resolve issues within the team.
Act as project sponsor and escalation point for customer projects
Taking ownership of and resolving appropriate customer issues
Contributing to and assisting with the deployment and adoption of new or improved business processes
Acting by example and instilling company values through the team
Chair and contribute to team and other internal meetings as requested
Skills and Experience:
You will be a leader with a proven successful track-record in delivering high quality work. You will have an ability to lead individuals and share knowledge.
In addition to this you will:
Will have an excellent understanding of project delivery and be able to demonstrate and critique projects.
Have excellent communication and presentation skills
Have a natural ability to build good rapport with clients
Be comfortable engaging with senior management
Be able to deal with conflict situation, seek and implement resolutions
Thrive on a heavy workload with the need to prioritise and manage expectations
Be a natural “go-to” person
3-5 year of management experience
3-5 years of consulting or project management experience
Ability to excel in a team environment
Demonstrated creative problem solving ability
Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
The ability to travel as required is essential.
