What you'll do:

As the Head of Strategy, you will spearhead the Strategy team, overseeing the successful delivery of pivotal strategic projects throughout the year for both the Wesfarmers Group and the Wesfarmers Health Board, all while cultivating and advancing a high-performing team.

• Set yearly agenda and workplan for the Strategy Team, providing leadership and mentorship.
• Shape the future of Wesfarmers Health by owning and evolving the Divisional strategy.
• Oversee the execution of strategic projects involving multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Wesfarmers Group and other Divisions on crucial projects.
• Offer strategic advice and support to the Managing Director on key priorities.

What you'll bring:

• Several years' experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business development, including working in complex stakeholder environments and leading large programs of work
• Proficiency in preparing formal business documents and presentations, with leadership experience in team management and mentoring
• Proficiency in analytical and strategic thinking, capable of translating strategies into actionable plans.
• Collaborative approach with effective communication and presentation skills, adept at working with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial drive.
• Retail and/or Health experience is advantageous
• Relevant tertiary education in related discipline or field
• Post grad /MBA qualifications will be highly regarded
