Our newly formed Energy & Utilities business is seeking a Head ofZero Harm Centre of Excellence (CoE) to join our team. This is a full-time permanent role that can be located in a variety of locations across Australia.
You will be responsible for leading the integration of Downer's Zero Harm standards and processes tailored to our business needs. Your responsibilities will include producing change implementation plans, conducting training, offering coaching, and ensuring seamless communication across all levels.
Our ideal candidate:
You will have a passion for safety and a demonstrated ability to lead a team, deliver on improvements, and make a positive impact on the business to facilitate Zero Harm success.
- 5 + years of demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role
- Minimum 10 years experience in Health and Safety working in a high-risk environment.
- Experience in the development and completion of safety management systems and/or environmental management system audit plans
- Ability to develop and translate relevant zero-harm strategy into implementable actions
- Knowledge of statutory provisions across relevant jurisdictions
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
